چکیده

− The paper presents a new version of the modified nodal method for analysis of the circuits with widely separated time scales. The key idea is to use multiple time variables, which enable signals with widely separated rates of variation to be represented efficiently. The differential algebraic equations (DAE) describing the RF-IC circuits are transformed in multitime partial differential equations (MPDE). In order to solve MPDE we use the associated resistive discrete equivalent circuits (companion circuits) for the dynamic circuit elements. The algorithm to formulate and to solve the dynamic modified nodal equations was implemented in a computing program, which constitutes a useful tool for steady-state analysis of a very large class of nonlinear analog circuits.

A novel time method for the simulation of the analog circuits driven by multi-tone signals

The paper presents a new version of state variable method for circuit analysis with widely separated time scales. Widely-separated time scales appear in many electronic circuits, making traditional analysis difficult or impossible if the circuits are highly nonlinear. The key idea is to use multiple time variables, which enable signals with widely separated rates of variation to be represented ...

Analysis of Nonlinear Microwave Circuits Excited by Multi-tone Signals Using Artificial Frequency Mapping Method

Artificial Frequency Mapping (AFM) is an effective method for analysis of memory-less microwave circuits excited by multi-tone signals. In this paper a new formulation for analysis of these circuits with nonlinear elements (nonlinear capacitance involved) is proposed. This is followed by introducing a linear amplifier suitable for WiMAX technology. Then, AFMT is used to evaluate the performance...

Power SystemAnalysis for Nonsinusoidal Steady State Studies Based onWavelets

In this paper power system model is represented in a new domain that relates to Multi-Resolution Analysis (MRA) space. By developing mathematical model of elements in this space using Galerkin method, a new alternative method for power system simulation in nonsinusoidal and periodic conditions is developed. The mathematical formulation and characteristics of new proposed space is expressed. Als...
